Cougar Marching Band

The Cougar Marching Band is committed to excellence in every facet of our program.  We strive to perform every task, no matter how small, to the best of our ability because we know how we treat each other and our attention to detail on a daily basis will determine our success in performance. 

The Cougar Marching Band has been a great way to transition from high school into college. It has given me many opportunities to meet new people and this is great because it is very difficult to meet new people in college as a freshman. But also, as a part of the drumline, my experiences have doubled because I rehearse with the drumline for many hours each week, and even on days the band does not meet, so the drumline has become a family. Since we also learn new music every week, my musicianship and creative talent has improved tremendously. Marching band is a wonderful thing at WSU, and I appreciate every hour we spend together.”
