Goals of the Band

The Cougar Alumni Band is a private, non-profit organization that strives to support the Cougar Marching Band through fund raising for scholarships. We proudly represent WSU and give back to the community through performances at events throughout the year. We want to help Band Alumni stay connected and celebrate the fun memories and fraternity we share through music.

You had a unique experience at WSU – you were in the band! Thousands of Band Alumni like you experienced something special and have those memories you can cherish for the rest of your life! The purpose of the Cougar Alumni Band is to bring together Band Alumni like yourself and help promote and support the current bands. Your time and resources are limited but you would like to give back somehow.

How can I help out?

  • Join the Cougar Alumni Band!
  • Donate instruments
  • Donate to the scholarship fund
  • Participate in performance events
  • Ask your fellow band alumni friends to get involved
  • Donate photos of when you were in the band
